Spread the Love!

Marketing can be daunting. Your days are unpredictable and your to-do lists keep growing. Marketing doesn’t need to be a headache, though. Bloom is here to help you get the second quarter off to a roaring start. Read below for two strategies you can do this month to improve your marketing and get more prospects into your sales funnel.

  1. Write one stellar piece of content. While content may be a more long-term marketing strategy, the benefits of getting started now are numerous. Write a blog between 300 and 500 words and post it to as many places as possible, such as your website, social media, local news outlets, distributed to your database, etc. You know the questions that your potential residents ask most often, so make sure you are taking the time to answer each one by developing them into content and providing real value.

When posted to your website, a great piece of content will contribute to your SEO efforts and drive more organic visitors to your website over time. On social media, content will drive engagement, likes, and clicks to your website. As a newsletter, content will keep your organization top-of-mind for all your prospects. Send out your blog to a specific lead who may find it valuable, or as an email blast to the entire database so you can so you can track clicks, opens, and conversions.

  1. Survey your current residents and their families. Who are the residents you love? Who are the ones you want to replicate in each and every prospect you bring into your funnel? Create a list of your favorite residents and their families and ask them what initially brought them to your community, what kind of marketing tactics they paid attention to, and if they know anyone that might benefit from learning more about your organization. Whether this survey process is an online survey or a simple conversation, you can get some really valuable information on how to market to your target demographic.

Make this process easy by creating a short survey and distributing it to the email addresses you already have on file. Then, let your amazing residents and their families do the rest! If your residents and their families do not utilize email, print out the survey or meet with them one-on-one to ask them the survey questions. Once you have the responses, share those with your team and go ten times bigger with any marketing tactic your top residents find worthwhile.

Marketing doesn’t have to be overwhelming or time consuming. Use real data, do your research, and be sure to have a strategy in place. All this will save time down the road and help to bring in new leads. Complete the above tactics in July and let us know what kind of results you see!
